£1000 Research Grants Available
In order to support historical research in the field of British-made decorative tiles and architectural ceramics, the Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society (TACS) is offering grants of up to £1,000 to suitable applicants. Please note that specific conservation projects (of objects or buildings) are not eligible unless a significant research element is included.

Tile Gazetteer – A Guide to British Tile and Architectural Ceramics Locations. This is the definitive gazetteer of in-situ: tile, mosaic and architectural ceramics sites in the UK. Arranged by county, the text is written in narrative form with all the highlights of each area described, dated and attributed wherever possible.
An online text only version of the Tile Gazetter is available as an educational resource.

TACS Locations List
TACS members have identified around 6,000 examples of high quality tile and architectural ceramic work located in Britain.
