SYNOPSIS

We invite you to join us on the Tiles and Architectural Society walking tour of some of central Manchester’s finest terracotta buildings. The abundance of fine buildings reflecting the wealth of Manchester’s cotton production during the 19th and early 20th century makes it an ideal place to begin our look at design in terracotta. Our guide is Mark Watson, buildings historian and member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.
