Sites not included in the Tile Gazetteer, which have been verified by TACS using one of the following methods:-
- Site visit.
- Virtual site visit using Google Street View.
- Web Sites, (e.g. English Heritage, National Trust).
- Books, (e.g. Pesvner).
Note: in some cases, e.g. a church which isn’t likely to get demolished or even altered significantly, it will only be the continued existence of the building (and not the item of ceramic interest) that will have been verified.
