TACS Virtual Events 2026 Viewing time 52 Mins Speaker: Rob Higgins Rob Higgins presents a cavalcade of colour and mid-century modern design in this fascinating talk about The Dovecot Studios.   The Edinburgh Tapestry Co founded the Dovecot Studios in 1954 to perform screen printing of fabrics, tiles and paper. The Studios operated until 1979, in the later years under the stewardship of Peter Powell. At its inception, the chief designer was Robert Stewart, the talented designer who also worked at the Glasgow School of Art and designed fabrics for Liberty\u2019s of London.
